Hands Off Our Education

Defending free, accessible education, student organizing, and public funding for post-secondary education.

About This Campaign

Education is a human right. The fight for free and accessible education for all has a long history, and it continues today. We, the students, believe that together we can win.

Students across the province are struggling. Years of austerity, cuts to post-secondary education, and attacks on students' right to organize have made education less accessible. From tuition hikes and OSAP cuts to reductions in essential services, these decisions make it our responsibility to keep fighting for our future, our rights, and our education.

We, the students, demand

  • Hands off our education
  • Free and accessible education for all
  • Grants, not loans
  • Fairness for international students
  • Increased awards and grants for Indigenous and Black students

Hands Off Our OSAP

On top of skyrocketing rents, inflated grocery prices, public service cuts, and record-high youth unemployment, Doug Ford's government is still putting profit over people.

The provincial government has slashed OSAP, raised tuition fees, and saddled students with never-ending debt during a cost-of-living crisis.

Students across the province demand

  • Grants, not loans, and an end to interest on OSAP
  • Stop the tuition hikes
  • Hands off admissions, research security plans, and students' fees
