Guidelines and resources for conducting fair and democratic elections.

All recognized student groups are required to hold democratic elections for their executive positions at least once a year. The UTMSU provides oversight and support to ensure fair and transparent elections.

Election Timeline

Nomination Period

March 1 - March 14

Members can nominate themselves or others for executive positions.

Campaigning Period

March 15 - March 21

Candidates present their platforms to the membership.

Voting Days

March 22 - March 24

Members cast their ballots.
