Advocating for safe, stable, accessible, and affordable housing for UTM students.
About This Campaign
UTMSU will advocate for affordable and accessible housing options for UTM students. We will work with the University of Toronto Mississauga and the City of Mississauga to address rising rental costs and housing insecurity.
We will push for stronger student-focused housing initiatives, increased access to affordable rental options, and long-term solutions that ensure students can find safe, stable, and affordable housing on and off campus. We will also connect students with appropriate housing resources and support services.
UTMSU will continue the fight for
- More affordable housing
- Stronger protections for student tenants
- More workshops and events on tenant rights and housing resources
- Stronger action from UTM and the City of Mississauga to address housing insecurity
